Actually, a study was recently done on local news outlets as to whether the media was liberal or conservative. As it turns out, local media is geared towards its locality. If a newspaper, radio, or television station is in a largely conservative area, then the words they use and topics they cover are largely conservative based. If they are in a largely liberal area, then everything reflects a liberal bias.

In other words, they adjust their stories and words so they can maximize their profits for the area. A liberal newspaper wouldn't have many readers in a conservative area, would it?

As for your original question, our local Fox Station did cover some of the March for Peace on Washington, and as well as the local protestors against war (because George W. Bush made a visit here a couple of days ago). Can you believe it? Fox showing a liberal agenda? Kind of goes along with my first answer.

In my city, i'm going to be on the different area of the line, protesting each and every of the commies and islamo-sympathizers who want our usa to lose. in case you want to "help the Troops", you're able to help THEIR project! or you're encouraging the enemy who's attempting to kill them. I help PRESIDENT BUSH, and that i help the mandatory conflict on Islamofascism, that's what that's, alongside with IRAQ. and that i'm hoping to establish some hundred cruise missiles on a thank you to Tehran and Pres. ahmaweeniejob quickly. So all you defeatists answering this question can grant me each and every of the thumbs-downs you want, and that i will take it as a compliment.

Because the main-stream media is very Conservative.

By the way, these marches for peace, occurred from coast to coast.

There was a huge one in Los Angeles, one in San Francisco, one in Sacramento and one in most major cities across the nation.

They interviewed some people. One guy said the young people today lack passion. And one other thing, there's no draft.

It's not interesting. The news media is driven by what sells, and a bunch more activists pointing out the obvious fact that we're in a stupid war thanks to our retarded president just doesn't sell.
They're only the "liberal media" when a Republican congressmen gets caught making passes at little boys - that'll always sell.

You got that one right. Not one word of it here in L.A. except a little blurb of it in local coverage. Proof once again that the 'liberal media' doesn't exist. It's nothing but urban myth.

And, for some reason, people don't think Jane Fonda has the right to free speech. Amazing.

They have to contain some semblance of credibility. When you have to bring out Jane Fonda, you have officially jumped the shark. It's over.

You must have missed the fawning that they gave in the nightly news. Proclaiming the courage that Jane Fonda has in getting back into the anti war marches. Just thinking about it make me want to lunge for the creamy pink stuff.
