yes they usually check things like your blood sugar,and std's and also iron levels as well and depending on your history or that of your family there are other test that lean toward genetics for certain disorders.If this is your first time this is the greatest time of your life enjoy every second sickness and all it's the greatest feeling on earth ,hope all goes well and don't sweat the small things like the blood work.Enjoy it and your new baby.

they just check for pregnancy unless some other tests are also writtin in doctor's slip.
