I am starting my 2nd trimester and am eating small healthy meals and reasonable snacks, but I still feel hungry in between. Has anyone gone through this?

Yes it is normal. I was like this too. I was eating everything in sight and barely gained a thing. The baby must need it. I wouldn't say to overeat if you're not hungry, but if you are famished it's cause the baby needs it. He/she may be going through a growing spurt. I have been this way through alot of the pregnancy, but just recently, I dont feel hungry at all. I still make sure I eat something and make sure what I eat is nutritious, but I am not eating nearly as much. In fact I would say I am eating the same or even less than before I was pregnant. I think it all balances itself out. I just try to stay away from things that are high in empty calories. Good Luck!

Yes. This is normal. I'm on my third pregnancy. I didn't actually get an appetite until my third trimester. I barely ate during the first trimester. I felt pretty normal the second and then the third my appetite just got huge. I went 2/3 of the pregnancy gaining very little weight and now I'm huge. So, be careful!

Yes I think it's normal to feel hungry. You should be glad that you are can eat. I am 10 wks pregnant and I can't eat anything. Just the thought of eating food every 2 hrs makes me want to throw up.

yes i have gone threw this with all 4 children. You are now feeding for 2 you know and you need to eat more than if you were not with child. If you are still hungry you could eat more fruits and veggies and low fat snacks.

confident, you're maximum possibly superb (and nonetheless pregnant!). As a lot of human beings have mentioned, around this time you're able to start to sense greater valuable, that's thoroughly regularly occurring. while you're nerve-racking in any respect, do no longer hesitate to call your OBGYN- at 11 weeks, they might desire to have the flexibility to p.c.. up the infant's heartbeat with a doppler, which will optimistically grant some reassurance.

Totally normal. Make sure you eat lots of protein and limit eating carbs and sugar solo which will spike your glucose levels for a bit then leave you feeling hunger an hour or two later.
