i have an all girl punk rock band, and we can't decide out of Loud Yet Lovely (LYL) or American Sanctuary. plz vote which band name sounds better to you. thx

Ok, if you're set on one or the other, then American Sanctuary - LYL is a bit "We're girls with guitars!!! We like the colour pink!!!" - Not very punk. If it were my choice, I'd go with something entirely different, or have LYL but don't tell people what it stands for, let them guess (not everyone is on yahoo answers!)....

If it's a punk band, then LYL is a good choice. American Sanctuary sounds more suited to a goth band.

Well if its all girl punk band i mgonna guess it's loud right? so american sanctuary wouldn't fit because doesn't sanctuary just mean a peaceful palce?

If you're going for serious emo sounding, then American Sanctuary, but if you're going for fun, spunky, chick rock, then LYL. It depends on what kind of music you play.

I like the LYL one, but I've always thought that "The Screaming Pixies" would be a good name for an all girl band

I would say PG (Punk Girls)
a) Loud Yet Lovely is basiclly making fun of ur band
b) American Sanctuary is not tha good
