I have spent three years building up a business and with miminal advertising though maximum effort have been able to make it successful with vast amounts of opportunity for continued growth. I have gained respect from people, honest money and able to provide for me and my daughter. However, even though it sounds great I am now unhappy inside my soul. I seem to of lost who I am and am continually feeling the urge to sell it and retrain in my passsion of fitness. If I sell it I will obvisouly have a lower income and feel scared that I may regret it though emotionally I feel I should. Any opinions welcome. Thankyou everyone.

I don't know what your business is, but would it be possible to hire a manager to run things for you while you get on with your re-training? That way you'd still have control of your business, but would have the time to pursue other things.

Got to be worth considering.

Congrats on your success, btw, I know how hard it is to be successful in this way and a mum at the same time.

take some night classes in fitness get all the certifications you need, see if you could hire some one to help you with your business in the mean time. This way you could get some industry credit and then take your business knowledge and open your own studio then sell your business, make sure you will like what you do put away for college for the kid first before you sell you have her needs to think about to. No need to have to pick one option take over the world and have a stab at your passion and keep what you have worked on.

I think you may feel lost if you sell your business. It is very hard working for ones self so you have my congratulations for doing so well. It sounds to me that you need to find someone you can trust to run your business for a time, while you take a good long relaxing holiday. All the Best, hope you get sorted.

Don't sell!! If you sell, one day you would wake up and asked yourself " why in the hell did I do that?" Especially if (God forbid that it does not happen) something happens and you need money for medical insurance or medicine. You have that all ready taken care of. Sounds like to me is that you are burned out. Hire you a partner that can help you. Someone that you can trust. You take care of the money stuff and they do the rest. I wish you all the luck. But you can do it. : )

Enquire regarding the hiring of part-time Manager/Manageress to free up some of your time. Follow your passion at night classes allowing you to continue with both ventures.
