I am 4 months pregnant and we are moving to Georgia from Dallas Tx.I would like to know which are the good hospitals and gynecologists out there for me? Prefer something in Gwinett county or Fulton county.However willing to take an apartment anywhere close to a good hospital.

Northside Hospital is the baby place in the Atlanta area. I had both my children there. They deliver more babies than anyone else! Piedmont is more in-town and more intimate. Depends on where your doctor delivers and what you want and can afford.

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is actually the best womens hospital in ga, it is located in Fulton Co, i think. also, Athens regional in athens and St. Mary's in athens have good reputations. Northeast ga medical center in Gainesville is also really good.
But i really recommend Northside, they are known for their women's health. I got transferred there after i delivered at another hospital and they saved my life when the other hospital had given up.
Stay away from Grady memorial Hospital. They get all the gang violence and gunshot wounds and it is really not safe outside of that hospital. Especially at night. I have also been to that hospital and every time i went out of the hospital, there were homeless people asking for money or cigarettese and they would follow you around regardless if you gave them anything.

Gwinett Medical center, Then there is St. Mary's in Athens GA it has a very good NICU thats what I looked for in a Hospital
