Don't get fake nails. They will ruin your real nails. Did they put antiseptic on the cut? Put neosporin on it now. Do not go back to that salon. I wouldn't worry about an infection.

I would want to know whether the tool was sterilized before it was used on you. Keep an eye on it. Try salt and warm water instead of rubbing alcohol. Alcohol can be irritating. Don't overdue it though. Keep an eye on it. Any redness that spreads could be an infection. IF that happens, you'll just need antibiotics. Infections are only a big deal if you don't do anything about them and they spread. If you're really worried about it, try some polysporin on the uncovered cut. I wouldnt' cover it. Better to reapply the polysporin after washing your hands than have bacteria trapped under a bandaid.

Just keep it clean, washed and put a band aid over it. You should be fine.

TETANUS SHOT!! You don't know what germs are living on that drill from another client or other bacteria.

Go and show them what they have done and ask for your money back if not you will sue! I know how painful that is!
