why isnt it ok?

I love my boyfriend so much. He is the sweetest person ever and my mom doesnt like him because he is 20. I am 16 and it is legal in south carolina. My mom told him its ok to see my at church but I can go anywhere else with him. i love him so so so much, we even have eachothers name tattooed on oursleves. He said he couldnt take losing me and I know I couldnt take losing him. My mama tries to break us up by always telling me she see's him with anotha gurl all the time but I knos she is lying because the lady she is talking about is married with two kids and goes to my church and when she says he is with her little does she know i am with him. I love him but how can i let her know that? and i have a clear bookbag with his npic in it and she told me to take it out before she throws it in the trash.

Mothers sometimes have a hard job seeing their daughters grow up and get into relationships. The fact your boyfriend is four years older than you might worry your mother because, sorry, but she might think he wants to take advantage of you. You seem mature enough to know that he isn't like that though. And the fact your mother lets you see your boyfriend sometimes makes it sound that she isn't trying to be nasty or cruel, she just thinks she is doing what is best. Try sitting her down and telling her how you feel about this boy, and tell her how much he means to you, and that you'd like to be able to see him outside of church sometimes, but you'd be mature with each other. Tell her this would make you happy, and I'm sure she should be able to understand this. I really hope everything works out well with you because I know how it feels to not be able to see your boyfriend as much as you'd like to.

Your mom has reason to worry! Obviously your not too bright if you got a tatto of your boyfriends name. She might be worried that he will hurt you and he might but talk to her any guy of any age can hurt you.
