They promised to put party affiliation aside! They promised to be open to both sides of the issue. The Blue Dogs were supposed to be moderate middle of the road politicians. And already they are blaming the Repulicans for stalling a number of issues in the house and senate, in which they have control!

On the iraq war, the democrats agreed to it and then flip-flopped, just like always.
Democrats have not come up with an iraq solution, they just whine, cry, and point fingers.
They are drawing deeper party lines than the republicans ever could:
-Abortion
-Withholding funding from the troops
-Stem cell funding

First off your question does not make sense. Perhaps it should read why don't Democrats do what they said they would to get elected.
My gosh what a bunch of whiners.
I agree that they should work together and I believe they will, they have been in how many days?
They promised to push a fairly significant amount of legislation through the house in 100 hours and they did. They could not have done that if they had added every amendment that the opposition tried, just to slow things down. Just look what is happening in the Senate. The opposition has tried to add over 90 amendments to the minimum wage bill !!!
Personally if they were fair they would never even let the Repugs talk through the whole session. That is who they were treated. The last congress got almost exactly nothing done and that was without listening to a single thing the Dems said.
The Dems were criticized for not just approving every judge and every bill that came in front of them so I ask you why the double standard.?
