I know they say it's for security reasons but this is going way too far!

"it's not a nude image" - it actually is, have you even seen the 'example' person they screened?

"would you rather scanned by one of these machines or strip searched?"
strip searching people without a reason is against the law - and so it should be.
how about the option of 'neither'?

What on earth will they come up with next! They were saying that it would be good at the entrance to big office buildings...yeah right! Letting some pervy security guard see you starkers AND working in the same building as you! Imagine the gossip!
This government has gone off it's head!
I can't see it happening.....no one will have it! And they say, 'well, if you've got nothing to hide.....well actually Mr. Stupid PM I DO have something to hide! I'd like to keep my modesty thank you!
Put it this way, if they did do it, then what next after that.?.... a little camera up the jacksy before you enter the office! lol
Best wishes

Think about it - what would you rather scanned by one of these machines or strip searched?
The image given by these is an outline of your body shape showing if you are trying to conceal something - it's not a nude image.
Grow up!
And yes, I've been scanned by one and seen the image!

as is usual the fight against terrorism has over-taken common sense.
no1 has looked in2 the long-term health risks from this.
they've already proved X-rays damage bones.
bet this is idea is fraught with similar risks.
but by the time it's had millions pumped in2 it, is up & functioning, it will b 2 late.
i worry how far this paranoia will go b4 the realise it's un-workable!

I'm looking forward to it - I personally will wander past these cameras with a tin foil cut out of an AK-47 up my sleeve and just wait for the buggers to panic!!!
What else could we do - knives / guns / bombs - all cut out of tin foil and sewn inside the lining of your clothes!!! can you picture their faces!!
Here's to the new street sport - copper baiting!

Yes, but they decided to modify them & now they will not be as descriptive or graphic. They will basically show outlines.

Yes, in the papers today. If it catches the dross, I don't really care. It'd be fun to have one to take down the pub!
