Is it because they're ignorant to the sport ?

I played in the one that they had for the World Cup this year. It would need a few tweaks, but was kind of fun. In all honesty, I didn't know many of the players, but did fairly well. I think you'll see it come available in the next year or two, but it might be done with European teams (since that is where most of the big stars play) and open internationally.

However, as the others said, it STILL doesn't have the popularity in the U.S., but it is growing quickly and with Beckham moving here to play maybe it will pick up speed.

america doesn't pay attention to soccer with the exception of the world cup and the olympics. pro soccer in america just isn't as big a deal as the other sports. when's the last time you saw a pro soccer team make the cover of Sports Illustrated or ESPN the Magazine, or even a local newspaper?
