Write a letter to the teacher apologizing and telling her that you were wrong and that you realize that your actions were degrading, and offensive to others. I think you are remorseful and i imagine she will understand. Boys your age do really stupid things and you are no exception. My son did the same thing at it was more to show off then anything else. He told the teacher that he was trying to be cool and show off and she explained to him that his actions are inappropriate and can be very offensive especially to women, and not to do this anymore. Write out the apology give it to her or say it to her. Just ask if you can have a few minutes of her time before or after class. She will have a great deal of respect for the fact that you accept responsibility for your actions and don't try and lie your way out of it. It takes a great deal of integrity and courage to admit you are wrong and to say you are sorry. I think that you learned a pretty important lesson and to me that means a lot and makes this situation although very embarrassing and shameful rather worth the pain you are experiencing. Don't worry in a week it will be something else. Nothing lasts forever although I remember when I was your age and I felt the same way you do. Good luck and I think that it is awesome that you are doing something about it.

Don't worry about it. I had something similar happen to me in junior high (I can't remember if it was also 8th grade, maybe 9th). I was sure that my teacher would be so angry, I would be on her "bad-list". You know what? Nothing happened. I got an A in the class as usual. Went to high school, went to college, went to medical school. I only remember it because (like you) I thought everyone else would think it was as big a deal as I did. It is not a big deal. The people around the teacher were laughing - if it was a big deal, they would have been saying, "Gosh Mrs. So-and-so, this is so offensive. Who could have written such atrocities? We would never find this humorous, only offensive!"

You're okay. We are all granted a few minor indiscretions. I think the worst situation that might arise from this is your teacher taking you up on your pickup line. Don't fake sick tomorrow. Go to school and be your normal self.

Dude mix the phrases and prove you and your friends innocent by talking in a certain manner. Talk it out with the teacher first though iit'd be best if you knew the punishment. You should knid of verify if your'e truly bieng written up. I;m also going to be honest with you, tell the truth and you'll escape from getting a harsher punishment if you know if your bieng wrtten up.

Well... if it wasn't school appropriate you probably should have known you were taking a risk. I don't believe you should fake sick tomorrow or deny it. Suck it up, and take the blame. It would be naive of you to deny it. Plus, honesty and responsibility are two important things you will need later in life.

Just learn from this mistake.

being written up does NOT affect your grade. if your parents are big on the principal's office and stuff, and they ground you, that is the worst that could happen. when you get written up and in trouble you either: serve lunch detention, normal detention, or go to the principal's office. it's not that bad, and everyone gets in trouble once in a while.... it's not SUCH a big deal!
