I haven't seen any of them. How long would it take to watch them all back to back, and what about the extended versions?

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Runtime: 178 min / 208 min (special extended edition)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
Runtime: 179 min / 223 min (special extended edition)
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Runtime: 201 min / 251 min (extended edition)
Kinda long but worth watching. Don't miss them...

they are roughly 3hrs long the extended version are more like 4 hrs they are basically the un-cut versions you can watch them back-back but it is long consider if you startwatching around 4 in the afternoon you will end around 3 in the morning. May I make a suggestion make a weekend out of it start friday watch 1 then Sat 2 then Sunday 3 The Dark towers is Awesome but the Last one is probably the best one. When you watch the first one you may want to watch the next right away because it ends kinda abruptly. Have fun enjoy.

The Extended Versions would take about 11 to 12 hours,
the normal versions would be about half of the time of the extended editions

I have all 3. Watched them 15 times so far. You are looking at 9 hours at least ,but I would set aside 11 hours,to be on the safe side .That will give you time to go to the bathroom;make more popcorn etc...Hope you enjoy them as much as I do...You should read the books if you already haven't....Enjoy

They're all around 3 hrs long. The Ext versions are close to 5 each

too f*cking long.
Let me sum it up for you
movie #1. Find a ring...run, fight, run, fight....run some more.
movie #2..fight, fight, run, fight, run, run ...fight some more.
movie #3...run, fight, fight, fight, run, fight, fight...wine like little bitches about nothing...fight. Destroy the ring...celebrate/stop fighting.
There i just saved you 10 useless hours of the same thing over and over. Now go do something productive like volunteer for children or fight global warming.
