What did you think of the movie and of Leonardo's acting?

I saw that yesterday and heres what I think. The plot was flawless and the scenes were extremely intense. I dont think anyone could have depicted the war in Sierra Leonne as Ed Zwick did, so a big thumbs up for him. Leo I thought delivered an ace performance, I dont understand the fuss about the accent. I know a couple of South Africans and they sound very similar, not identical but thats not expected.
Djimon Hounsou was the real star....brilliant actor, I dont know why he is not winning anything, he could not have done it better.
Jennifer Connelley I thought was plain with nothing new.
Last but not least fab soundtrack
This movie is all class and refined acting and directing.

Blood Diamond. The correct term is Conflict Diamond. I guess blood sounds better than conflict for a film title. However, I thought the film was very good and it has highlighted the plight of people mining diamonds and that such a beautiful gem is being used for such a hateful purpose.

I found Leonardo's accent a bit odd at the beginning but got used to it as the film went on. I found the film very thought provoking and quite sad to see how people are exploited in that way.

Leonardo DiCaprio did a a great job acting i nthe movie. I am not a big fan of him for some reason. But ithought he played his part brilliantly. He played the part of a white african perfectly.

The movie was excellent. It was a perfect blend of action and awareness.
Leonardo pulled off the accent and the character better than I thought he could. I just selected him as "who should win" (rather than who I think will win) in an Oscar pool.

I watched it but it was a copy. It's a good movie but Leo is spoiling it. He is NOT a good actor!
