The one at Boulder. The main campus is always the better one.

Boulder is the main campus and more selective on admissions. However, freshmen wll be assigned to huge classes for their basic course work (math, science, english). A way to work the system to the best result is to take the first and/or second years atthe branch and then transfer by junior year and work on the major in classes where the professor might make an attempt to know you.

Educationally they may be the same. Is UC Springs an outpost of UC Boulder? If I had a choice, I would choose Boulder over Springs -- that is, unless you are interested in a specialized program only offered at Springs.

No idea! Look at the courses, visit the campus - what do you feel? It is your life. Go somewhere you feel good about. If you are really prepared to be miserable just to go to a 'good' university, what does that say about you? Will you marry someone who will make you feel more important?

It's your decision, and get advice, but make up your own mind!
