what is the best armor in ffxii?

I know the zodiac spear is the best weapon. But what other armor is the best?

The best overall defensive armor is the maximillion which can only be bought at the secret shop in the necro of nabudis near the end of the game or you can find it if your lucky I found 2 I think while playing, but thats just defense there are other armor that half certain elements so it depends what your looking for, helm would be either the black mask or white mask I think thats what there called anyway, but they both have a lot of defense the white mask slightly more and white absorbs dark damage and black absorbes holy damage. The shield I'm not sure about, and bubble belts are a good accessory, but buying them for ever character is kinda wasteful when you can better accessorys for someone who uses magic alot or someone who is already strong enough without.

ha your in luck. i just beat the game an hour ago! i had everyone equipped with dragon armor, dragon helm, and kaiser shields. for weapons, goldenn axes. accessories, bubble belts ( they double the characters HP) my characters where all 43's and the final boss was not that much of a challengee. ( well it would have been if i didnt buy 200 xpotions lol)
