Well, everybody is different, I usually get pimples when I'm about to get my period, but I don't get a lot like all over my face, I just get like 2 or 3 & their not big either, then they go away when my period is about to end. But if you always get pimples maybe you should try Proactiv, they always show it on tv because is really good, I been using it for a few years already and it really got my face clear, the website is: proactiv.com, you should become a member and give it a try. Good Luck :)

It's a myth - mostly. Around the time of your period, your hormones start acting up more, and can agitate the oil production in your skin, so you can be more likely to get pimples. But most teenagers are likely to get pimples no matter what, and everyone's body chemistry is a little different. A good regular skin care regimen is really your only defense against pimples.
if you find your pimples ARE indeed tied closely to your menstrual cycle, you might consider birth control pills. Many women take these pills to help regulate their cycles and their hormones (which in turn helps clear up their pimples), and not for the birth control benefits at all. You will break out horribly for the first three months until your body adjusts, but after that it may help quite a lot.

Yes this is true, but terribly overexagerated. The reason why you get pimples during puberty is because of the sudden hormonal surge. The same thing happens in a higher concentration during your period, because of the estrogen surge, so you get pimples. However, its not like someone will look at your face and think, "Wow, what a zitty face! She must be having her period today." Usually its just one or two, and they clear out on their own after your period (as long as you don't physically touch or damage them).

It is true, hormonal changes in your body make pimples appear... and when it;s over your skin gets cleaner... But this is not the only consequence... see, during your period your skin also loses color, turns opaque, your eyes don't shine so beautiful as usual and in general, your body doesn't feel good... The period when you are more gorgeous is when you ovulate... in the middle of your cycle... that's because nature makes us beautiful when we ovulate to be more attractive and keep the humankind alive.

I hope this helped.

just like the other girl said, everyone is different. i know a girl that has horrible zits all over her face and i always feel so bad for her. then i had another friend that has never had a zit in her life! for me, when i was younger i always got zits on my forhead but almost no where else. now i never get zits except for when i get stressed about something. if you haven't gotten your period yet then you probably wont get zits yet. once you get your period then you'll have more horomones and that will cause zits.
