GREAT question.
Answer: Because she can - get away with it.
If she acted out that way at work, she could lose her job.
Other people would simply not put up with it - she would end up doing lasting damage to other relationships.
So, she saves it all up for dear hubby, knowing that he will probably just suffer.
The fact that she CAN control herself demonstratesthat she is chosing to give to take it out on the family.
There really is no excuse.

Its common but you will think when a woman have her PMS the spouse and family should understand that this is the time we need attention and plus we are in pain.

Women have been known to take it out on whomever is around when suffering from PMS. If the woman you're referring to is only taking it out on those at home--maybe she is home to dam much, and needs to be socializing with more people.

On a positive side, at least they time their PMS with the full moon. That way we can't tell the difference.

Because the family and spouse are the ones who should understand her and not take it as a personal attack. She need to apologize after it is done and over every month, smile.

Because she is extremely immature.
A mature woman has control over her "feelings" and emotional crap during PMS, etc. and can keep from taking it out on everyone else.
Tell her to GROW THE F*CK UP!
A lot of women won't like this, but sometimes the truth hurts.
A lot of women also say they "can't control it". Total BS and a bad excuse for treating those you love like crap!

Because she is comfortable with you and you put up with it. I bet if you had a civil talk and told her you do not want that... make her go on a time out.
Time outs aren't just for kids. :)
