well, unless you signed any paperwork saying that you don't get paid if you get fired or leave the band.... then you would be allowed to get royalties from profits. as to how much-- that depends upon how much you sang & how much the album makes. also, in that equation, promotions & other related costs would be deducted from the amount of royalties you receive. so, keep that in mind. it may not be worth your while after attourney's fees, etc.

That depends which state you are in and what your contract says! Take your contract to an attorney immediately for review. No contract you say? Uh-oh, that's not good news. This really is a question for an attorney, many will give a free consultation if you ask.

I was in a band -- a very famous one, and I got fired. Best to forget it unless you are very rich -- if you go to court and lose, you will be paying out for the rest of your life.
