Like...my parents are so-called 'baby boomers', I've heard that 80s children are called the 'MTV generation'. which is dumb since I never watched MTV, but what do you think?

Generation "Y". Unfortuantely also called the "MTV" generation as well.

unfortunately the 80's kids are known as the MTV generation so sad nothing to change...But they are also known as the Pepsi Generation too...

I was born in the 1970's and my generation is referred to as "Generation X", the one that comes after us is called "Generation Y", so I suppose that the generation after you will be dubbed "Generation Z", after that, who knows.
