Robertson Holbrook are the good guys they guarantee to return 100% of your charges to you. So if you've had £1000 of charges, Thats what you get back ! Check out the web site to see how its done ..they hide nothing & provide a legal service (included) so you don't have concerns about turning up to fight your bank in court.
Time is diifercult to estimate for these claims at the moment as the banks are at their wits end with all of the applications. Where as 90-120 days was about the norm earlyer last year, thanks to the fantastic exposure the (bbc2) money program gave to bank charges every one became swamped..including RobHol. so the process is running slower then "normal".Don't dispair look at The consumer action group web site (who guarantee 95% after your 5% donation) if you need inspiration there are many people in the same boat as you and you will also see that given time you will always win.

No, no, no - you don't need a company to do this for you. They'll find a way to get money from you, which is how they make a living.
All you need to do is write to the bank and you will get every penny of any charges you've had to pay over the past 6 years back.
Honestly, it's that easy. I've recently had nearly £2k paid back to me.
Check out a website called penaltychargesforum for all info and templates of letters to send the bank.
Again, don't use this company. It's not necessary.

Why don't you just do it yourself? It is a piece of cake using the many templates and step-by-step systems available on the internet now.
Try www.moneysupermarket.com.
This way, you get to keep all the money the bank offers you, and believe me, THEY WILL offer you something. These companies are on to a guaranteed bonus for every single customer they can take on and certainly are not going to fight the case massively for you! How much are you owed. Hell - I'll do it for you at a smaller percentage, donated to charity.
You will always pay way over the odds for these services and will often feel ripped off at the end of it. If you go this way, I hope you learn a lesson!

I'm using a no win no fee company to claim back an endowment -it started in mid November - rang on Friday to see how things were progressing and was told the bank are dragging their feet and very reluctant to admit liability. I was told it could take up to another 6 weeks

The company you are using will take what you get back in fees. Better open a new bank account because if you win your bank will close your account. If you have had unauthorised overdrafts you may find they set a debt collector after you and have your name added to a credit black list.
