A good one is C.P.R., it is a life saving skill that all people should know. I personaly have seen lives saved from it and have also seen lives lost because nobody knew what to do. It should not be to hard to come up with 750 words on why it would be a good reason for more people to master this skill. Good luck

Hmm. Are you familiar with the concept of EQ (emotional quotient) rather than IQ? That's basically about being able to read others' emotions and empathize with what they're truly feeling. Here are some other skills worth mastering: how to spend only what you earn, how to save money, cheer up others, keep peace with your family, discipline children, build self-esteem in yourself & others, coach others, eat well, take good care of your mind & body, donate to the best charity, determine which job is truly right for you, stay calm in an emergency, write well, conquer fear of public speaking, understand politics, do what you can to change the world.

Tact: a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense

The ability to speak with tact is something very few people have or want to have, but relationships between all people would be better if people learned some tact.

Swimming. It is a really good skill to master. It can be fun and good exercise, but it is also really nice and possibly lifesaving to be confident in the water.

Grammar skills. Using correct grammar can make you look intelligent, thorough, and disciplined. At work, at school, or even in your personal life, grammar skills come in handy.
Good luck with your essay and let me know if you need a proofreader! :)

Public speaking.

Many young people can't speak a sentence or two without "you know" and "like" scattered liberally throughout.

The ability to speak well in public is becoming a lost art.

Common Sense. It is much needed, but lately I see less people demonstrating it.
