My Husband does not understand my Love of Yahoo Answers. I tell him it could be a waste of time, even an addiction for some, but it's a great tool and a wonderful Community for others. I have used Yahoo Answers for information and for entertainment... I love it!

Sometimes it is nothing but futile aggravation.
There are such small minds here, but then, they'll let anybody through the door, right?
Then again, I've met some really interesting, intelligent people here.....at least I think they are. I haven't met them in person.
I've had some technical questions answered correctly here, too.
But, in general, the place is a bit overrun with idiots and trouble-makers.
If you can work your way around that, have fun.

Not if your one of the "Positive" people on this site, its not.....I feel that in our own way, we're all sort of Nurturing one another, and helping one another through eachother's problems and the like you know..... Plus, we're all getting our typing experience up a bit.... and we're doing something good with our hands when we could be doing something bad, with them....You know the old expression (idle hands are the devil's workshop & busy hands are Happy Hands!!!) that sort of thing...... Plus, if you get to certain levels from 4 on up, you get prizes, and invitations to the "Barbecue's" with all the food you can eat , games and prizes and cocktails, and so on!! I got an invitation when I reached a level 4, but I had to tell them I couldn't make it... and I was too late to claim my prize, because it was during that big scare , when they had announced on the news that one guy was stealing millions of people's identities off of the internet, so I stayed off of my computer during the time limit I was suppose to claim my prize!! Darn it!! Anyway, Its okay..... I'm looking forward to the next level to see what's in it for level 6s, you know...... Smile! Your doing something positive, and thats all that matters!!!

My hubby is the same way..but you know what I tell him....
If you want me off yahoo answers because its waste of time..give me something else to play with....
Guess what! I am still on yahoo answers so he will just have to get over it or give me some

Tell that husband behind you that it can never (Ever) be a waste of time for anyone with you here. It is fun, silly and informative, and tell him that "it is not porn" so back off.

Nope. Although it does get to be a bit frustrating at times with some of the participants personal opinions instead of straight out questions. You know what I mean.

no it isn't a waste of time -- it's free and fun. I have even used it when I am at work to get additional advice. Sometimes you have to put up with hurtful and hateful people but they are easy enough to avoid.

well now your husband does he watch tv movies sport .. music come on guy give your weife a break here if this is what your wife likes yahoo answers then i cant see a problem with that its better then myspace crap and yahoo chat .kiss your wife and say honey lets have bbq food aand you watch the tv and your wife stop on yahoo answers she is not doing anything wrong

dah! did you think you were gonna earn money by using this?. let me tell you something:I love Y!a but it's an addiction and a timeweaster, it should be used for when you are bored/have nothing to do.
don't do like me, using it everyday an hour. I'm an addict.
