the bigger the better i woud go with 17" but it depends on the price of each

It depends on what you plan on using it for. If you're going to use it more for word processing, web browsing, then you can go 14.1 or 15.4. If you plan on using it more for gaming, and media (pictures and movies), then go for a 15" widescreen or 17" widescreen.

Depends on your interests: are you a photographer? Go 17 for sure! Else 15.4 unless you're figuring to travel a bit in which case you might keep in mind that little booger surely will be easier to take with you if you want to take one with you...

after using a 14.5 for a year i decided to get a 17" widescreen had to pay a lot more money just for the screen size and also its heavy, but if its for indoor use mainly, then its well worth it.

It really depends on what you plan to do with it. Lots of video editing or game play. I'd say go with the 17''. I love big screens, and if you don't have to worry about carting it around, I'd go as big as you can.

Sony has a laptop that's awesome its a 17", so go with that, also if buying a Sony laptop go with the bule ray...its cost alot more, but worth it!!!!

why spend money on a laptop when you can get it for free? just go to this site and complete a few quick tasks and they'll send you a sony vaio laptop at no charge!
