i know that every ones saying practice practice, but its true! when you go to dance, try your best! don't try to look better than everyone else, just try to do the best you can do. when you come home from dance, write down the new choreography your teacher gave you so you remember it and try to work on it each week. also, keep a journal that says what you worked on in class and how you did with it, like if it was something you had a ton of trouble with, practice it everyday at home and then the next week at dance you'll most likely have improved, and if not, keep practicing cause you will! don't get frustrated and give up..it takes time for all of us to get good, most dancers weren't just born good, they had to work their butt's off, so don't give up, and believe in yourself

The real question is, do you actually like to dance? If you do, then you should be confident on the way you dance. If you're really into it, try joing outside programs if it is an in-school activity. But either way, practice makes perfect.

Practice and Motivation!!!!
Practicing your routine or steps, will help you to memorize where your feet and arms should be at all times. this will also take some stress off of you so you can have fun and be less stressed. motivation is vital. if you are motivated and POSITIVE it will help you to learn things quickly and make it easier for you and your partner.
