You struck a nerve here. I'll take a break from my alter ego and answer seriously. It pisses me off. My daughter's black teacher got mad at one of the white students for not knowing MLK's(which is not his real name) birthday! Why the hell does she or anyone including blacks need to remember his birthday? Kids can't remember their own parent's birthdays, besides remembering his. What does it accomplish knowing his birthday? That just shows you how ignorant this "teacher" is, thanks affirmative action for that one. Yeah, teach history but the details of a birthday, come on. I get so sick of racism being one sided. There's good, bad, pretty, and ugly in every race.

I live in a town where blacks are the majority and being white I have to live with racism everyday. I come from a town that literally has a black town. The blacks in the town I live now do not believe that racism against whites is not racism. I believe strongly that prejudice against anyone is wrong. I'm tired of people believing racism against a majority isn't wrong. We should be allowed to have our own everything just like they do.

Ashieness, you forgot a couple, as I'm sure I will. How about a Miss White America, the United Caucasian Fund, the National Association for the Advancement of White People (NAAWP), and a White Caucus. Let's get realistic about this silliness.

You're right. Blacks should quit thinking of themselves as victims. It's holding them back with self-pity.

I don't think you will be able to understand the answer at this time. It may help if you would read something about Fredrick Douglas. Please, keep an open mind and take the time to read about this wonderful man. Your eyes may be opened, and you will learn to understand why it is important to study Black History.
