ive just been watching on bbc4(cooking in the danger zone) and its about people in south korea and they eat dogs how could they?That is awful what they do to them dogs.

that is evil i have a dog and i love him dearly after what I've just heard I'm turning vegetarian. what a sick society we live in.

Unfortunately,eating dogs has been their way for a long time,and yes it's disgusting to us,as bad as in Egypt or Morocco where they eat sheeps eyeballs,or certain parts of Asia where cockroaches are considered a fine delicacy.Yeeuck!!!

I ate rabbit, horse(I'm french), crocodile, spiders but never had opportunity to eat dog...
Dogs are more aggressive than most animals, they come from wolfs and they just like us because we feed them whereas children are starving in the third world;
So, the only bad thing is that they hang and beat them till death to make softer meat....Its horrible ; animals should not suffer

Meat is meat - how can you decide what acceptable and what's not, the French eat horse meat, in South America they eat Guinea Pigs - if it fills the belly then it serves the purpose - in India cows are sacred but I bet that never put you off a beefburger

It's their culture. Don't judge them on that. We eat meat and the animals that we eat are not typically treated very well. You would be disgusted if you knew what happened to all the cows and chickens that you have eaten in your life.

they probably do this because it was somethign that was done in the past long ago an is not second hand to them they also eat CHOW CHOW (dog) in China!!! sick i know personally this sort of things nned to stop these days there realyl is no need for it is there. i am with you on this one girl.

To the koreans it's no worse than eating beef,pork or poultry.Some cultures would never eat what we eat.A slaughter house could be considered cruel no matter what species was being killed.
