Cat, I really don't know how old you are, or if you're going to follow theoretical subjects or science in your life, but I gotta tell you one thing:

in almost everything that you do or will do in your life, there is alwasys mathematics involved.

and having a basic knowledge of mathematics also improves your way of thinking, your intelligence and your attitude against life in general.

I find it very useful every day, and i'm 25 years old, 7 years after graduating highschool.

I know it can be hard to study and understand sometimes, but put in an effort, even this would help you become a better person.

that's my advice, hope ur covered.
