I have trouble identifying the climax, and rising aciton in my story so can you help. These are the major points: Zelda realizes that she has magical powers, to get these powers enhanced she has to go to a magic school and pass her exam on magic, she a book that will allow her to enter the school,

I know that the
Problem: is that she has to pass the test
Conclusion: she passes

Can anyone give me suggestions as to what I can make the rising action and climax be? For example: you should keep everything else the same. Make the climax she also has to protect a family undercover, the rising action is that she has to ......

Well, being the video game fan I am, I can tell you Zelda was actually the name of one of the developers wives, so it is a legit name!

Next, for the story I'm guessing the test would be the climax, or the point right after the test to see her strenghs enhanced or how they enhanced. The rising action is literally everything that happens to your character before the climax. The opposite for the falling action. As a twist idea make the exam a non-writen one, like, make them send her into a back room with magical technology that makes her have to save a fake village.. ^_^ Just an idea. The school can maybe hold good and bad magic users and the evil peeps get on trying to blow the school up. *Shrugs* Just throwing out ideas!

Title ideas:
Under the Cover - because enhancing powers, the book she needed to get in ect.
The Magic of the Mind - Understanding everything, the exam, ect.

I would say that her taking the test is the climax and that studying for the test or any clases she has to take are the rising actions...basically preparing for the test is the rising action taking it is the climax (because while taking the test...will she pass won't she pass it is the critical point what she has been working towards throughout the story) Then you are right the conclusion is that she passes.

**Edit: I would also say you are right with the intro too (based on what you have told us that is)
