Yes I always take my shoes off as soon as I walk in my house. This is a rule in my house so everyone takes their shoes off before coming into the house. When guests come over the house they have to take their shoes off too. No one seems to mind in fact most people have their shoes off before I even answer the door.

Yes. It was drilled into me as a kid that shoes come off at the door. Usually I take my socks off too because my socks are smellier than my bare feet. If it's really cold I'll put a clean pair of socks on.

Yeah I do. That's a rule at my home.
I even have to switch between 2 indoor shoes- one for living room and the other for the carpet areas. lol

Yep. Then I put on a pair of heavy wool socks. I have wood floors and I keep the temperature cool in the house. Socks do the trick.
