Does a question have to have at least one star before it shows up as having any answers? I was just looking at one that had answers at least 5 minutes old but no stars and it showed "0 answers". What the heck is up with that? If I think a question is funny or will prompt some funny answers, I want to know that people have answered the question before I waste my time clicking on it. Does this make any sense? Am I the only one or am I crazy or both? Thanks in advance for your thoughtful insights! LOL!

It takes awhile for them to up-date the records. I've clicked onto questions that said ZERO answers and, voila! They had 2 or 3 answers already. Yahoo just hadn't up-dated their totals.

Don't sweat it.

Yes I noticed the same thing, a lot of questions now say "0 answers" but when you click you find lots of answers (specially the recent questions). This is annoying as it is sometimes useful to see how many answers a question has already received before clicking on it to answer it.

No...I hate the whole starring a question thing. I would feel bad about giving someone a star and then not giving someone else one, so I just don't even use it.

i don't decide if a question is one I want to answer based on whether or not someone else wants to answer it. I think for myself.
