No one wants the country to be at war. Neither Democrat nor Republican, not Conservatives nor Liberals want war. So it begs the question: what can the average person do to facilitate a faster end to U.S. involvement in the Iraq war?

Well, at the moment, there is nothing we can do. We can only change the future. I don't like war, but I support this one, only because I would rather it be fought over there than over here. We saw what happened last time we waited to be attacked, on 9/11, 3,000 innocent US citizens died in a matter of an hour. So yeah, I'd rather not see that again in my lifetime.

there is largely 2 or 3 achieveable undemanding undemanding methods to end this warfare. One is purely pull out and enable the middle East blow aside on the seams. Which it is going to. i've got confidence that no count if or not you have confidence we could continually have long previous into Iraq we can't bypass away now. My persoanal opinion. based on the reality that the Saudis have already reported that they are going to get entangled if we bypass away. in reality it would be a warfare between Iran and in all probability Syria against Saudi Arabia. With Al-Qaida as a 0.33 occasion on account that the two Saudi and Iran hate them. With Iraq using fact the conflict floor. think of the cost of gasoline then. the two factors will do in spite of it takes to offer up the different from delivery oil because it is their basically source of earnings and without it they ocould not sustain a warfare the only different techniques are to fairly prepare the Iraqis nicely sufficient to control in the event that they'll. an exceedingly enormous IF! option # 3 is decrease the top off the monster that creates the matters. which would be Iran. they're investment the rebellion militias in Iraq and Lebanon the two. The possiblity is that with Iran bulding Nukes and speaking of destroying Israel, that Israel will shelter that for us. the only ingredient I concern is that using fact the Iranians have hardened shelters that Israel will use Nukes to verify thay actual get their flora. If Israel began a extensive-unfold warfare to take out Iran they might could combat all the middle East.

March. Call. Wtire letters. Send faxes. Send emails. Sign petitions.

Congress must be constantly barraged by caring citizens so that it will cut off funds for the war. Bush won't do it, and most Members of Congress are too cowardly to stand up to be counted for fear that voters will turn against them in the next election.

Actually, your suggestion that "no one wants war" is quite naive. There are many segments in the United States who are benefitting financially from the war, and who would like it to continue. There are even a number of religious fanatics who would like to expand the war so they can bring about some kind of Apocolypse, on the mistaken theory that Jesus will bless them for doing the devil's work.

war is an old rich man's fight..fought with the life of the poor man's son(daughter)..to stop a war in one part of the world will only open another war someplace else..politics,war,old rich..all depend one way or another on the profits made by war .it would be hard to ever find an end to wars..if you could follow the trail
of money war provides..you would find it in something you have used or purchased...so maybe the answer is to stop spending
money for anything and go back to living off the earth and
let bartering for goods and services take the place of money and
if all that is impossible..then put happy juice in the drinking water.

History is repeating itself, What happened once in Vietnam is happening now in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. In the end, it is the American People who will decide that it has to stop. I suggest you read about the Vietnam War, and how it ended.

Have open and honest discussions with your neighbors, friends, and coworkers about the war and it's impact. Do your best to understand the situation by gathering as much factual information as possible, and avoid the sensational talk/radio shows.
Most important; VOTE. Vote for represenatives that reflect your views on the war. It sounds cliche, but write your local, state, and federally elected reps. about the war; be clear and rational, and make your opinion count.

Vote for the Libertarian Party. All the way across the board. Libertarians do not allow an army. No army means no war.

And the answer to your next question: What would happen if America had no army and we were invaded?

Well we would use our RIGHT to bear arms and kill those chinese sons o bitches!!!! Just like the constitution says.

Accept who really instigated the war so they don't get us in another one. The two party system has the SAME masters. Support our troops, but expose the traitors and liars in governement. And be willing to accept the TRUTH.

stay educated and educate others, there is still a nice % of americas who agree with the war. write your representatives, we elected them for a reason, join in protests, but becareful, there is a fine line between raging against the war and raging against the troops, you dont want to cross that line, the troops dont want us in Iraq either.
