third break light?

i have a 1989 bonneville and i want to get a new spoiler for it but my third break light is on the trunk will it cause me any problems with putting a new spoiler on??? from the looks of things the one thats on there now just goes over it but not sure.

you can buy a spoiler with a third light built in

you don't have to have the third brake light as leasted i don't mine don't work any more and i never got stoped by the cops
