Cardinals. They have been around a long time, have a lot of tradition, and lots of great players. I think St. Louis is a great baseball town (even though they booed the Yankees mercilessly in interleague two years ago). I think the Cardinals are second greatest team behind the Yankees.

Cardinals only because I live in the area and don't want to miss out on going to baseball games, but I am a native New Yorker so the Yankees come first.

Whenever someone asks me who I root for, I say my favorite team is the Yankees, and my second favorite team is Major League Baseball. I'm not saying I root for every team in the majors (blasphemy, rooting for the sox) but I appreciate what the players are doing and I just have an intense love for the game.
