I experienced twinging and cramping on left hand side of womb area which then moved towards the centre of my body a few days later. Was I feeling my egg moving down my uterus from the left ovary? Wondered if anyone has experienced similar and knew that they were actually ovulating at the time as I am currently unaware of when I am ovulating due to having just stopped taking the pill. Thanks!

Any clue as to the myterious ways in which our bodies work would be grateful - thanks!

There is physical symptoms of ovulation that some women are aware of. The translated word means "middle pains" and they basically happen in the middle of your menstrual cycle at the time of ovulation. They are characterized by cramping in the lower abdominal area and often have a similar sensation to menstrual cramps but just a little less intense. The contracting like cramps are the release and movement of the egg along the Fallopian tubes. Some women experience them one month and not the next, some experience them every month, and some are never aware of them.

I had exactly the same thing happen to me.After stopping the pill, two weeks later I started feeling like crap!
I actually had all the signs of a pregnancy, but all the tests came out neg. Some women do get pregnant right after stopping the pill, and maybe you are one of those lucky ones!
Or you could be like me,and it may even have been phantom signs!
I would test as soon as possible, cuase if you were three days late,it would show neg or pos on test.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I even have ovulation pains. Its the two in my good or left area b/c the ovaries many times replace each and each month. i'm going to easily sense some gentle soreness or cramping on that area. the reason some females sense ovulation soreness is b/c the egg genuinely bursts out of the ovary. some females don't be conscious this in any respect or some females such as you and that i will sense it. i've got no longer heard of this as being an illustration of pregnany, except you have an ectopic being pregnant turning out to be on your fallopian tubes.. in case you don't get a era quickly, that's beneficial to take a being pregnant attempt only in case, yet its probable only soreness from ovulation. It occurs to me each and each month. I forgot to characteristic this: I do have ovulation soreness yet I even have never observed. i might desire to have skipped that for the period of your question. So, that's beneficial to seek for suggestion from a dr or take a prego attempt. recognizing and gentle cramping could be an illustration of being pregnant. Sorry for any confusion.

Yes i have experienced these pains before but until i started trying for my second i didnt realise what it was. i dont get the spotting though but everyone is different arent they. try monitoring your bbt and see if things coincide with each other, that way you will be able to tell when you are ovulating without having to check your temp all of the time.
good luck!
