Uh..... If you are able to turn on your PC, log into YA, and have the energy to type this question, I would say..... yes, you're fine, you'll be fine.

I wouldnt make it a habbit if doing this, but as for will you die or get cancer? Its doubtful. Just try to not do this again. If you do feel worse later on, I would consider making a trip to Urgent Care and explain what happened.

Your best bet would be to tell your supervisor that you are prego's and go from there, don't wait for HR. If the fumes bother you that much take more breaks away from the fumes, your supervisor cannot really fault you for not feeling well when the fumes are present. You have to let someone of authority know of your situation ASAP so that they can help you. As far as already hurting the baby you would have to check with your DR. and let them know of the situation and go from there. I hope everything works out for you

This is impossible to answer as no one knows what plastic is involved, or what is in the make-up of what you burned. It is likel;y not going to harm you, but a concentrated dose of chemical fumes is not a good thing.

If you are experiencing any unusual symptoms, (headache, dizziness, vomiting, ) and they last more than a few minutes after initial exposure, go to the emergency ward of a hospital.

VERY important:

Take as much of the original container as possible with you so they can identify what plastic is involved.

I sure hope you are going to clean up the melted plastic mess before any serious symptoms occur.

I wouldn't make a habit of doing this , but I wouldn't think you have anything to worry about unless you ask this question to people you know , they may not let you live it down for awhile.
