What do you wish you knew then, that you know now?

All the sh!t about the right clothes, the right shoes, the right hair, the right friends, all that garbage I cared about when I was a teenager...I know it's stupid to care so much about that now. It's better to have a sense of style than to be fashionable. I wish I knew that one day, a lot of "important" stuff wouldn't bother me so much (though new stuff bothers me now.)

I also wish I'd pushed harder to get my parents to let me have a job when I was in high school. I think I'd be happier now if I hadn't been trapped at home, under my mom's thumb all the time.
