It's called statutory rape. Doesn't matter if you are willing, the government feels he took advantage of a child (which he did). It is up to the states attorney whether or not he is charged (he will be). Also, once convicted, he will be properly labeled as what he is for the rest of his life (a pedophile/sexual predator). Once he gets out of prison, he will have to register his name and address yearly, keep local authorities informed if he moves and here's the best part: He can't be anywhere near minors. (He can't even live within so many feet of a school). I'm sure that this is not what you wanted to hear. But the time for molly coddling is over for you if you are going to have a child to look after.

*Addition*: A parents insurance WILL NOT cover their child's pregnancy.

A girl i knew was in this situation once. She was 15, the guy was like 21 and they were boyfriend/girlfriend for a while. Her mom met him and everything but they lied to her and told her that he was only 17 or 18, so the mom was ok with it. But when she found out his real age and that they had been sleeping together, her mom took her to the police station and filed charges. The girl told the police that she was WILLING every time but the still filed statutory rape charges and put out a warrent for his arrest. He spent time in jail and now HAS to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life...

in most states that i know of (not sure if its a federal law or not) in order to recieve any kind of public assistance you must name a father for your child on the birth certificate. which means they will find out he is over 18 and they will probably turn him in as soon as they find out rather you want them to or not. rather willing or not a male over 18 with a 15 year old girl is rape as she is not old enough to give consent. also things like doctor/patient confidentiality and nondisclosure laws in most cases dont apply to children....they have a right to report everything to your parents and to the authorities if a case of child endagerment/rape or something has occured

Well in the State of California they will put him in jail, no matter what. Willing or not. It is against the law to sleep with someone under age.

Girl! You are in for a rollercoaster ride. I think the guy can be charged with rape, even if you let him? What were your parents thinking? You better talk to an adult or something!

That's statutory rape. Depending on the state, depends on what will happen to the guy.

unless your parents are on welfare you should be covered on their insurance, but welfare gives you insurance so you can take care of yourself and your unborn child
