suggestion - don't surprise them with an unknown drug test unless you want to lose any respect that you may have from them. talk to them, ask for one, and show some concern for their well-being. also you may want to talk to your doctor or someone in the medical community for common physical attributes of using specific drugs (they're all different)

First, you need to establish why you can't talk to them. I have two children and I know it is sometimes difficult to broach subjects that they will find either uncomfortable or think are none of your business. But, you need to talk to them. Second, what will you do with the results if you magicly get a sample? Will you confront them then?
I suggest talking before hand and establishing a good line of communication. If they are defensive, then say "Hey, I'm your parent, I love you, and want to know what is going on in your life.
When you feel you are ready to talk to me, I'm here." Don't be judgemental, don't be easy either. Be honest.
I have been there, and it was hell for about two years. But we all survived because I made sure that they knew they could count on me to be there, and stick to my guns. I do wish you luck and hope you can find your way through this difficult situation.

If you suspect your kids are using drugs you should do whatever it takes to protect them. I don't know how much i would trust any kit that you can get over the counter or by mail. I would go with the doctor's office. I hope your suspicions are wrong. good luck.

take their hair brush. now go to your pharmacy.Tell your pharmasist what you said here. he has a hair follicle kit.there are a few on the market. you can ask your kids to pee in the cup, but they will probably be one up on you. however, you can send the hair from the hair brush to a lab , $$$, and they can extract from the hair follicle, any drug that your kids may be using.
or. you can also do what many parents do and turn them in to the state and let the state pay for the very expensive tests (hair follicle test is about $1500) or you can subpoena the courts to pay. i guess it depends on your curiosity and your check book. Did you try looking in their diary,web accounts and jeans pockets?

well the only thing that comes to mind is take them to a Dr and tell them that it there annual physical time and have the nurse have them pee in a cup.You should make sure Your DR and nurses know that you want them drug tested and that you want to keep it between you and the Dr.and Nurses.
