I need a sentence, appropiate for a 6th grader, that has the word 'rancor' in it.

and a sentence with the word "meter" in it too. One word a sentence please. And I DO know what they mean, i just don't know how to make sentences. Please give USEFUL answers!

The word rancor means "bitterness" and anger. Now YOU come up with the sentence.

Well rancor means bitter, rankling resentment or ill will; hatred; malice.(dictionary.com)

So for a sentence you can say,

There was much rancor for the steamed vegetables served at lunch.

I think i used it right. =)
