There this one guy who I have liked for one year. And it has been really complicated between us, because he liked me too. But there is a problem, were sort of like Romeo and Juliett, and live far from each other. Our parents have a great grudge against each other. It has been so hard for me because I really like him. And I want to get over him becuase im sick of thinking about him all the time. Does anyone have any tips? I have never liked a guy this much.

I am sorry your going thru this, hopefully in some time from now you will think of him and smile. Getting over him shouldnt be your focus the focus should be you. Try something new, learn something new go somwhere you have never been. I have a feeling this isnt easy to do because your young. Maybe you should have a talk with your parents and tell them even though they didnt like him he was important to you and this is a difficult time and ask them for some money to take a classs. Growing isnt easy but you come out better in the long run when u do go thru these things they shape you as a person. its ok to still think highly of him and like some things about him. I know its hard to think about ever caring about anyone else but u will. try not to look at the calendar and say oh i should be over him by now just do something every day for yourself and one day you will wake up and be more grown up because of it. the next guy you fall for could have some of his attitrubutes but thats ok if they are good. who knows in time you may be able to have a friendship. Keep being the same loving person you are and dont punish yourself for not forgetting about him so fast. your heart takes time to heal.

Find something to do - when I was getting over someone from my past I kicked it with my girls. Eventually you will get over it - but broken hearts ALWAYS take time to heal. You will have to get through your 'crying phase' then you will be able to move on. You never know, you guys might just be takin a break till you get of age and can tell your parents to deal with it and be together.

It is hard but it can be done. Go out with your friends, focus on your studies, date other guys - simply do all the things you can to take your mind of your ex.

the only thing i can suggest to you is time. time, and finding someone else to occupy your time with.
