Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk in the I Quit match was the best match I saw when I was younger. For more recent, I'd say the Samoa Joe/AJ Styles/Christopher Daniels Ultimate X match.

For TNA it was the six sides of steel match with Triple X (Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper) vs. AMW (Christopher Daniels and James Storm). I will never forget the site of Elix Skipper walking on the top of the cage and then doing a hurrancrana!
For WWE it was Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart in the 60 minute ironman match, that match had me sweating in my mom's belly!

I think that there is a tie. The matches that were the best YET have to be Undertaker and Mankind in a hell in a cell match and Hulk Hogan and Andre the giant in a singles match.
