I've only been married 6 months and I think I'd have trouble sleeping without him... we haven't had to do that yet. I don't think it's bad, it's what you've become used to, so when it's not there, you're not totally comfortable.

Not at all. Sometimes my job demands my attention and I don't come home until 2 or 3 AM and my husband has a hard time sleeping until I get home. Once I am home he falls into a deep sleep. I think he is just worried about me being alone in a big building all by myself and then having to leave late at night and get into my car when no one is around. I feel bad because I know he is laying there awake waiting for me to get home. It's caring for someone you love and you know what? thats not all bad it's a good thing!

It's not bad at all. I am the same way, sort of. I can sleep without him just fine, but I feel more comfortable when he's next to me for some reason. I've been married 10 years to him!

HI, I think you love him so much that it is important for you to be there at night, I think it is fine, just make sure he knows that so he doesn't leave home for such long periods of time. You might ask him if he leaves again, to give you his t-shirt the one he sleeps with or his pajamas, I used to do that when my husband used to leave for work for 3 weeks. and smelling it like a blanket next to me made me feel comfort and so I could finally sleep. It might be a silly advice but it did work for me and so I give it to you, Good look. Sincerely Me.

My husband and I have been together for nine years and he works out of state during the summer. I still have to have a pillow with his cologne on it and I even have a tape of him snoring!!! I can't sleep without it. It just means that the "heat" and romance is still there...enjoy it while it lasts!!!

No, it isn't bad. But it is a little weird. You need to have a life of your own so you have more to give to the relationship. Go sleep on the couch once a week just to practice.

It's not bad - I sleep better when my papi is by my side too. When he's gone I sleep with 2 big pillows between my legs, it makes it more comfy. The feeling of secureness is always there when your man is next to you.

Not bad per-say just you are a insecure person. My hubby is also one that can't sleep unless I'm in the bed sleeping too. I think that it means you have insecurity issues.

I do not think its bad as much as it is normal. When you have slept next to someone for three years you become used to having them next to you, and it's been proved that even a slight change in your sleeping habits can disrupt a good nights rest, even if that change is your spouse not being next to you.
