Its not the carpet silly, Its the microwaves effecting you. What you need to do is to 711 and crawl into their large industrial Microwave that they use to microwave their oh so yummy breakfast sandwiches. But first make sure the rotating plate inside is turning counter clockwise in order to counter act the effects you are getting in your office. Then put on high for 3 minutes, stay in Microwave 2 minutes before getting out. You'll be good to go! No more shocking when you touch door knobs. Just a nice constant humming in you head... Good Luck. Oh and by the way, when your at 711 , if you happen to use the restroom, Don't by any means, flush paper towels down the toilet... It clogs the chili dispenser and they get really pissed.

Wear rubber gloves at all times, they will absorb the shock. And they feel so good.
