Generally rude answers come from people that might not have much in the way of intelligence to formulate a more appropriate response. Also I have seen answers to respectable questions that tend to indicate a lack of maturity and responsibility from the answerer.

On the other hand, I have seen some fairly poor questions or questions worded very poorly that will tend to evoke a response meant to reflect the nature of the absurd question. I have never hit the "Report Abuse" button but I certainly have been tempted.

Well,
Some people are so insecure and have no sense of self worth. They also have no friends so have to subject themselves to acting stupid, without accomplishing anything. I know for a fact that they will get what they deserve. Trust me, they are old 40 year old people that live in there parents basement and work at convienence stores.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude, but you get the pictue.

With understanding,

A lost teenager.

I agree. I just saw one of these and reported it as abusive. It has now been removed.

Its worse when people are obviously already down and asking real emotional stuff.

Unfortunately it has become the English culture, each generation becomes more rude and less respectful and thoughtful

You only have to look at some of the questions on here to see that some people live for controversy. Either that or just wierdos!

Unfortunately your question shows that they got to you and that is why they do it. They are not worthy of your time and energy so....deep breath and rise above it.

Nothing wrong in glowing with self-superiority as long as you don't show it to anybody! Then it becomes ego!

They're just rude people out there. Because we're anonymous, they think they can (and do) write anything and think they're being cute. They must not like themselves and maybe it makes them feel "important" or whatever. Just ignore the bad ones. You can get some good answers if the right person happens to see your question.

I think it's because some people can't find anything smart or constructive to say, so they decide to blab out anything that comes to mind. This reminds me of the old phrase "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all." If more people would heed the aforementioned advice, the world would be a better place.

Because people are hiding behind the anonimity of their pc. They wouldn't be anywhere near as cocky if you asked them a question face to face.

How many slaps would they get if they gave the finger to everyone they met in the street?!

Just ignore it

I know how you feel i absolutely hate it! like when you just have a question and you need to get some help on it and some people go around and say something mean or critisize you i hate that. for every question i ask at least one person will say something mean. it should seriously stop

whoever did that is obviously being juvenile and shouldn't even be answering q's. Hope you did get the answer you were looking for. Ignore the antics of those who are rude and ignorant. Also, if this really bothered you report them.

I have seen him too. Report it.
I am a little more vocal on here than I would in person. I guess it is because one never has to meet the people one is telling like it is!
