It really is a bit early to really feel it. At this week, your babys arms and legs are still pretty small compared to the rest of it's body, but they still move. I had an US at 9 weeks and his arms were more like ping pong paddles than arms. I could see them moving, but not enough that I would be able to feel it.
I've had 4 babies now and it's true that you can feel them earlier the more you have had ~ because you know what to expect it to really feel like. Honestly, the ealiest i've ever felt one of my babys move was week 14.
When it happens it's amazing!!! Good luck and in time, that baby will be waking you up with all that kung fu action!!

yes it is way too soon to feel any fetal movement. You cant even pick up your baby's heart beat at this point on doppler! You are probably just feeling gas bubbles or something! its just a matter of time though...it is common to feel first fetal movements between 14 and 21 weeks gestation!

WAY too soon. The baby is about the size of a kidney bean. For a first pregnancy, you are normally able to feel the baby around 18-20 weeks...sometimes later...anything before that is likely just gas bubbles or your stomach digesting.

Unfortunately, It's not possible for you to feel the baby move at 8 weeks...It's a long wait but it will come around 18 weeks.

Good luck!

It sounds a little too early to be feeling movement, but all pregnancies are different. Are you really thin? If so, then you may be feeling them. But I think it is just gas for now. Good Luck.

I hear that if you've had kids before you can feel movement earlier. At this point, I would write it off to gas. Trust me, you'll soon know the difference between gas and the baby and it's WONDERFUL!

Yes, 8 weeks is too soon to feel your baby move. Usually it is around 16-18 weeks when most moms notice their baby moving. When you feel "fluttering", then thats your baby moving.

Yes. That is early to feel movement. You normally feel it just a little before your 2nd trimester. You should feel movement around 12weeks. But on the other hand each pregnancy is different

Probably. The doctors say aroun 14 weeks. For me, I'm 21 weeks, and I didn't know I was feeling it for sure until about 18.

If you have had a baby before it has been said that you can feel it sooner. Often first time mothers dismiss flutters early on because they have not experienced them before

Also it has been said that it may be a sign of multiply pregnancy (twins, triplets etc.)
