Hi - Use an ovulation kit, we did and got pregnant the first month.
You will need to track your periods for a while so you know how long your cycle is (women vary).

I think the best day is twelve days after the first day of your last period and according to our doc you have to do it every other day so that the sperm has time to replenish. So 10, 12 and 14 days after the first day of your last period would be a good start. (The ovulation kit tells you all this so if I have got any of this wrong it will clarify things for you.

It can take up to a year for your body to go back to normal when you have been on the pill so don't get disheartened if it takes a while.

If you are pregnant you will get sore breast - trust me my wife moaned about it none stop when she first got pregnant and may also feel very tired.

I think their is a pregnancy test called early response you can get to test early. My wife used it and it said negative but she then used clear blue a week after she should have had her period and she was pregnant so I would wait to do a test if I was you.

I would wait till its the 28 -30days after you had your period and then do a test if you have not had your second period. You have not been trying very long at all, so dont worry yourself to much otherwise it wont happen. Be chilled and all will go well. It toke me nearly to year to fall pregnant with my second son. There is a 5 and a half year gap.
The biggest things is not to stress or worry.
Good luck

My fiance and I were talking about that. There are doctors who specialize in telling you when your body is in the stage where pregnancy can occur. Also watch your cycle and keep track until 12-14 days after your period began, then will your body be in the best preparation or likelihood of getting pregnant.

Wait until you are married and in a more secure
situation. tender breasts and peeing alot and a
missed period are the usual symptom, but being
sick usually doesn't start until after you've missed
a period.
