jennys age = x
margies age = 2x
sarahs age = 4x
x + 2x + 4x = 133
133/7 = x
x = 19

Jenny is 19
Margie is 38
Sarah is 76

Let Jenny be x years
Margie will then be 2x years
Sarah will then be 4x years
4x + 2x + x = 133
7x = 133
x = 19
So Jenny is 19, Margie is 38 and Sarah is 76
Check: total is 133

jenny = x
margie = 2x
sarah = 4x
x + 2x + 4x = 133
7x = 133
x=133/7
x = 19
then jennys 19
margie is 2(19) =38
and sarah 4(19)=76

m= marge
j= jenny
s= sarah

m=2j
s=2m
s=4j

m+j+s=133
substituting for m and s

2j+j+4J=133 or 7j= 133 or j= 19
if j= 19 and m= 2j then m= 38
If j= 19 and s= 4j then s= 76

check: 19+38+76= 133

Jane=J; Margie=M; Sarah=S
then J is 4 times smaller then S and twice small than M
J+M+S=133
J+2J+4J=133
7J=133
J=19

Jane is 19
Margie is 38
Sarah is 76

I think I am right

let's say that x is Jenny's age.

M - 2x
S - 2m
s = 2 (2x)
s = 4x
S + M + x = 133
4x + 2x + x = 133
7x = 133
x = 19
M = 38
S = 76
