I have an acoustic guitar with the pickup jack intgrated into the guitar strap at the base of the guitar. I want to put locking guitar strap (Schaller), which is easy replacement on front, but since the pickup jack is at the base, I can't "replace" it. I could add it, but that would add new holes to the base of the guitar. I'm looking for other ideas?

Your correct in your assessment......but consider this....If you have a cord plugged into the jack while your strap is on....there is not much way your strap will come un-done.......

In addition I have seen a short adapter that fastens around the strap button/ jack and at the other end of the short adapter is a second jack which could include a strap-lock.
