Oops I don't follow rules set by you either. The Us should withdraw from the UN. When Bush took to the UN for support before going into Iraq UN people such as France for one said they would help if the US paid them. When has the US asked for payment to help with issues brought to the UN? What was the deal with the 14 resolutions broken by Saddam? The UN passes resolutions but fails to enforce them so what is the point. What about the oil for food program, wasn't it UN bigwigs that were making money on that. The UN is a corrupt conglomerate out for bid.

THE U.N. ; WHY DO WE GIVE A CR@P ABOUT WHAT THEY THINK??

The United Nations actively pursues anti-American policies and appeases America's enemies, while being largely funded by $3 billion worth of annual American dues. After revealing the depth of rampant corruption in the UN, it is time to recognize the changes in Old Europe and redesign America's alliances that line up with America's national interests.

If John Kerry and Hillary Clinton have their way, Kofi Annan and Jacques Chirac will gain veto power over American foreign policy. Scared? You should be. It could happen. And in Inside the Asylum, former deputy undersecretary of defense Jed Babbin shows just how it could happen and why the UN deserves the nickname "The Asylum."

In the Asylum...

* the UN assists international terrorists. Babbin exposes the shocking links between the UN and terrorist organizations.

* The money trail from the UN to Saddam Hussein. It is time to rip the veil from the outrageous Oil-for-Food program-proving that the UN sold its moral legitimacy for oil, stuffed its own pockets at the expense of the Iraqi people, and undermined American pressure on Saddam Hussein: the UN's cash cow. The UN's Oil-for-Food program, provided Saddam Hussein with the means to bribe politicians, to deprive his people of needed food and medicine, and to literally steal billions of dollars. There is even emerging evidence that money from the program might have gone to support al-Qaeda.

• The UN's raid on the American Treasury: dominated by Third World staffers who consider the United States Treasury "the common heritage of mankind." Kofi Annan, the UN secretary-general, is an anti-American moral relativist who misses no opportunity to arrogate power from the United States to the UN.

* The United Nations and the European Union are morally bankrupt-and open enemies of the United States. France and the United Nations have cost American lives in Iraq by their perverse delaying of American action in the Iraq War. American troops are fighting and dying today because of a terrorist strategy Saddam Hussein developed while France and the United Nations delayed Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The UN is more of an international criminal than a dispenser of legitimate international law. If America wants to retain its sovereignty and security, it's time to escape from the UN asylum and say goodbye to the false friends of Old Europe. We owe no tribute to the UN and the EU, We should not be ashamed and divided to look after our own defense."

The United Nations building in Manhattan is an international enclave, no longer American territory. Inside the Asylum is a powerful argument that it's time to reclaim that land for America.

I'm American.

I think the UN needs to find a new home in another country. Basically it takes 27 non-binding resolutions on the UN's part to accomplish absolutely nothing. UN HQ in NYC is a waste of real estate.

I think the US also needs to pull all foreign aid, resign from the IMF and the World Bank.

Go cry to someone else. We're criticized when we help and when we don't help.

Hasta la vista, baby!

Then we should also quit funding the UN so it could completely go bankrupt. As an American taxpayer it pisses me off that we waste so much money on the worthless world body government. We should also kick the UN out of US soil too.

The United States needs to get out of the United Nations. Why don't they set up shop in Europe some place? Europe can you help us out here?

I think the USA should leave the UN. Would save us a lot of crap and police action stuff. Let the rest of the world handle its own problems.

I'm an American and I THINK the U.N. should be DISBANDED! They are a useless waste of time. As far as the U.S. 'NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES', LOOK HERE AND LISTEN UP. The U.S. is the biggest contributor FINANCIALLY and MILITARILY. In case you didn't know, the U.N. Headquarters is IN the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Get your facts straight before you look even more silly than you already are.
